Renting an apartment in Tuscany with a view is really magical. It’s worth finding a place that will add to your experience when you visit Italy, not just a place to rest your head. Getting an apartment with a view of rolling hills studded with vineyards and cypress trees is also more affordable than you’d think. This posts has the top Airbnb apartments and villas with a view. I’ve also included a few listings from Booking as well.
Before booking your stay in an apartment, it’s important to set the right expectations. Things can often be different from what you might get in the States (no elevator, small kitchen, no AC). Be sure to read reviews in detail to see if a place is right for your needs.

The Best View in Siena
Choose this spacious one bedroom apartment located in Piazza del Campo for a wonderful view of Siena’s main square. Not only can you watch the world go by, but you’ll be only a short walk to restaurants, bars, museums and churches.

Perfect View in Cortona
Cortona is one of my favorite towns in Tuscany and a must see for any fan of Under the Tuscan Sun. When I visited Cortona I stayed at this Borgo for the pool, but this cozy house would have also been amazing, especially for longer stays.

View of the Duomo in Florence
It’s hard to imagine a better view of the duomo than this. Plus, with over 450 reviews and an average rating of 4.93, you can bet you’ll have a positive experience.

Coastal Apartment with Ocean Views
People often forget (myself included) that Tuscany also has quite a large coastline. I’d love to visit Monte Argentario, an island like peninsula off the coast of Southern Tuscany. This two-bedroom in Porto Santo Stefano offers stunning sea views.

Unique Stay in a Tower
I know San Gimignano is famous for its towers (and ice cream), but I never thought there’d be an Airbnb in one. Staying in this 12th century tower, 11 floors up would definitely be an experience. You’d also certainly get your work out in climbing to the top. Although it’s a pricier choice compared to other value Airbnbs, I bet the view is priceless.
Sleeps 3. Check pricing and availability.
Ponte Vecchio View in Florence
We rented an Airbnb right on the river in Florence when we visited and it was amazing. Sadly it is no longer listed, but I think this one offers an even better view of the Ponte Vecchio and the Italian rooftops from above.
Sleeps 4. Check pricing and availability.

Two-Bedroom near Bagno Vignoni
I can imagine having a peaceful cup of coffee and looking out onto the hills of Tuscany just perfectly from that dining table. This two bedroom with thoughtful details is right outside the town of Bagno Vignoni, an ancient Roman hot spring.
Sleeps 4. Check pricing and availability.
Balcony in Montepulciano
Montepulciano is another one of the best towns in Tuscany. The town sits up on a hill and boasts beautiful views; this apartment is no different. If you choose this Airbnb, you’ll also be walking distance to many shops, restaurants and wine bars.
Sleeps 4. Check pricing and availability.
Apartment with Terrace in a Small Village
I don’t know about you, but I’d could move right into this place in a heartbeat. From the quaint design details to the small terrace with a view, you’d really feel at home in this airbnb.
Sleeps 4. Check pricing and availability.
It would be a dream to stay in any of these, but which one is your favorite?
Wow! Love all the recommendations! I must be doing something wrong because the links for Air B & B only take me to the site and not the property. Can you offer more assistance, please.
Thank you!
Peggy
Hi Peggy,
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Airbnb changed their program with bloggers a while ago, and it seems like that eventually broke all the links. I just updated this blog post, so hopefully it will work for you now.
